317L is an upgraded version based on 316L, with the core difference being a higher molybdenum content (3-4% vs 2-3%) and a synchronous increase in chromium/nickel content, bringing the following performance advantages:

• Stronger resistance to pitting/crevice corrosion: В seawater and chlorine containing chemical environments, the pitting equivalent value (PREN) is 1.5-2.0 higher than 316L, and the lifespan is extended by 3-5 times.
• Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC): В alkaline and chloride mixed environments, there is almost no risk of stress corrosion cracking.
• Acid resistant medium corrosion: The tolerance to organic acids such as sulfurous acid, acetic acid, formic acid, citric acid, etc. is significantly better than 316L.

With its ultra-high corrosion resistance, 317L stainless steel mesh is mainly used in industrial scenarios that require strong corrosion and high reliability:
